Red wine Petit Siós 2021

An oaky red wine. Persistent and full of flavour.

Tempranillo - Red Grenache - Cabernet Sauvignon

Ageing : 4 months in second use 300 liters French oak barrels.

Harvest : Grapes are picked from the last week of September to mid-October, following a hot summer and autumn which aids the ripening process.

Vineyards : Organically cultivated, using a trellis system in silt-loam soil.

Elaboration : Cold maceration. Alcoholic fermentation instainless steel vats for 15 days at a temperature of less than 25°C. Maleolactic fermentation takes place in the same vats.

TASTING NOTES

Appearance: A lively and bright , purple- hued wine.

Nose: High intensity. A good balance between the primary aromas of red fruits , cherries and blueberries and spicy aromas, cocoa and licorice.

Mouth: Gentle on the palate and easy to drink. Well- structured and fruity with well balanced acidity and a long finish.

Wine Pairing: Great versatility for combining with different gastronomic options ; meat, pasta, rice, oily fish, carpaccios, cheese and vegetables, with an exceptional result.
