Vintage red wine from Costers del Sió Winery.
Grenache - Syrah
Ageing: 9 months in French and American oak barrels. A minimum of 6 months in the bottle.
Harvest: Grapes are hand picked at the end of September, and collected in small boxes.
Vineyard: Grapes are selected from low production vineyards with poor soil, following organic guidelines and using integrated farming methods.
Elaboration: Cold maceration. Controlled fermentation between 25-28ºC in stainless steel vats.
TASTING NOTES
Appearance: A bright and intense cherry red.
Aroma: Complex. Aromas of mature fruit and licorice, combined with coffee, vanilla and balsamic notes from the barrel.
Taste: Smooth and velvety. Balanced acidity and mature tannins give a long and pleasant finish.
Wine Pairing: A wine which brings harmony to meat, game, cheeses, cooked dishes, vegetables and pulses. An indispensable companion for a gastronomic journey.
